In 1987, while President and owner of Dynamic Protection Services, Bill Bancroft observed that there was an increasing need for patrol services which not only provided security functions, but also was capable of enforcing parking rules on private property.

With the sale of Dynamic in 1990, Mr. Bancroft retained the fledgling patrol division he had started and began to grow PATROL ONE. We began providing services to Orange and surrounding counties in 1990. Since then, we have continued to innovate and expand our services and service area to meet the needs of our client base.

We began vehicular patrol services with two patrol units and a very simple computer system for tracking activities and citations. As of 2000, we now have a 24-hour a day Communications Center and field more than 25 patrol units. We also employ a full-time, in-house Director of Information Services to provide full tracking and reporting to more than 650 clients.

To allow us to provide quality services, we have restricted ourselves to only Orange County during this exponential grown period. Now, with systems and personnel well established, we anticipate expanding our service areas to Riverside and San Diego counties in the next few months.

At the insistence of those clients previously served by Dynamic, but who had been unable to find quality guard services after the sale, PATROL ONE began providing uniformed standing guard service to gated communities, commercial accounts, and others, who were looking for reliable, quality and cost effective guard services. With the addition of guard services, PATROL ONE could now offer clients a broad range of services, tailored to their specific needs.
